I have been a fan of the Houston Rockets for quite some time. Basically, ever since I started watching professional basketball, I have been a fan of the Rockets. I’m not from Houston, but from the very first game I saw the Rockets play in, I was just really impressed with their team. Keep in mind that this was back when Hakeem Olajuwon was just getting started in the NBA. Although they have changed quite a bit over the years, I have been very proud of most of the decisions they have made as a team, and continue to root them on as my team.

Just last week, I was lucky enough to get a chance to go to Houston and see the Rockets play in person. My boss knows I’m a huge Rockets fan, so when he found out that he needed to send someone to Houston on a business trip, I was the first person he asked. Although I had a busy three days in Houston, all the work I put in was well worth it when I got to watch the Rockets win a game in their home arena.

I have quite a few friends from Dallas and Houston. Although I have never lived in either of these cities, I feel like I have because I have not only spent time in both of the cities, but because my friends talk about them so frequently, I feel like I know both cities like the back of my hand. I always find it humorous when my friends from Dallas start trying to talk about their city being superior to Houston, while my friends from Houston try to make the point for their city being the best. Both of these cities are quite large, and I enjoy visiting them both, but in the eyes of people who live there, their home city is much better than the other one.

Just over a month ago, I took my most recent trip to Houston. Even though I simply stay with one of my friends when I go to Houston, I always get my own rental car. The reason for this is because we are always on different schedules, and having a rental car is an easy way to avoid running into any potential transportation problems.

I never understand why there are so many people who don’t make their car hire reservation ahead of time when they take a trip somewhere. Although they reserve a hotel room before they arrive at the place they are taking a trip to, they wait until they arrive to find a car hire. There are a couple of reasons why this is not a very effective way to go about renting a car hire. First of all, waiting until your trip begins to find a car hire takes more time. Instead of simply getting on a computer and making a car hire reservation online, waiting until you arrive means that you are going to have to find a car hire company and then go through the entire rental process from the beginning.

Additionally, you will end up paying more if you don’t make your reservation ahead of time. You can save a lot of money if you make your reservation online, but don’t expect to get any special deals if you wait until you arrive to make your reservation. So, instead of waiting until you arrive in Houston to get a car hire, use your computer to make your reservation today!
