I didn’t really have a specific reason to go to Houston. However, I did have a good reason to get out of town for a couple of days. I had been working pretty much nonstop for a really long period of time, and I realized that if I kept going at the pace I was trying to maintain, I was going to completely burn myself out and end up spiraling out of control. This was definitely not a scenario that I wanted to deal with, so I decided that it would be a lot easier to take a short trip to somewhere that would allow me to chill and relax.
The main reason that I chose Houston as the location for my getaway was because I came across a really good special on a weekend getaway trip there. Because this special offer was so cheap, I felt like I didn’t really have anything to lose by visiting Houston.
I’m glad that I can say that my trip to Houston accomplished what it was supposed to do. I was able to relax for all three days of my trip, and I even had quite a bit of fun by going out and soaking in the nightlife of Houston.
