Because I work for an energy company in Oklahoma City, I have to take a business trip down to Houston at least once every few months. Although it is possible to drive down to Houston from Oklahoma City, it’s a rather lengthy drive, so I’m quite glad that my company allows me to fly down there.

Because I usually have a variety of different goals that I need to accomplish while I am in Houston, I always get a rental car for my trips down there. Even if I’m only going to be there for two days, having a rental car allows me to be much more productive during my trips. And, because I’m able to get so much done in a shorter amount of time, I always have a little free time to enjoy at least one or two of the numerous high quality restaurants that Houston has to offer.

I’ve heard people complain about making rental car arrangements before, but I’ve never encountered a problem getting one for Houston. I simply use a price comparison website like Orbitz or Expedia, and within ten to twenty minutes, I can have a rental car waiting for me when I arrive in Houston.
